  1. Becky, came here as a result of your recent decision to follow Learning from Dogs. Thank you! Or better said, “Thank you twice!” because you are the second published author today to start following my scribbling; the first being Mike Fuller. Would be delighted, nay honoured, to have you write a guest post for me over on LfD or to republish an existing post from this place. Best of luck for the New Year.

      • There is so much that we can learn from our dogs. To the extent that this last November, I used NaNoWriMo as a ‘vehicle’ to finish the first draft my own, non-fiction, book of the same name: Learning from Dogs. It’s probably a pile of poo but it represented some form of tick in a box! Oh, re your dog and health issues, if you have any further queries, do be in touch as between Jean and me presently we have nine dogs at home, and Jean has looked after dozens of dogs in her days of rescuing dogs down in Mexico (long story).

      • Thank you, that means a lot to me… Monday we had mast cell tumors removed, and she’s doing well. I hate putting her through so much, but I also want to save her life. Breaks my heart. Shorty is an amazing dog… even through all of this, she still makes me laugh. And I love that your dogs have been inspiration for a book!:-)

  2. If we could all take life a minute at a time, we would enjoy it so much more! We’re always rushing trying to get to some artificial finish line, and then another and another. Happy New Year, Becky!
