  1. So true. I do recall at a family dinner my dear Grandmother asking, “Would you like the tomatoes up your end?”.

My family being what it is… Bwahahahahahaha

  2. The Bible says the power of life and death are in the tongue. If you want to know who or what you are, what kind of person you are, poison or life giving potion, than listen to what you say for out of the abundance of the heart a man speaks and as a man thinks in his heart so is he.

  3. Another great challenge! The first sentence that came to mind = thank you!

Especially to those closest to us. We tend to be better at showing gratitude to coworkers, neighbours, service people. But forget how much our Dad or sister or significant needs appreciation.

For example, every once in awhile I remember to tell my mom what a great mom she has been to me & my siblings. (Just like most working moms, she beats herself up for what she didn’t do… instead of all the incredible things she did.)

And when I do remember to highlight my gratitude, she literally jumps up with surprise and soaks in the unexpected gratitude.

Thank you is a beautiful thing. So powerful. Truly life changing. 💖💫
