  1. Now we are told we need , not five but ten portions of fruit and vegetables everyday. Is this true ? I’m sceptical whatever happened to an apple a day keeps the doctor away? I see people taking huge overdoses of vitamin c tablets far in excess of our daily requirements. Fitness has become obsessively linked to what we eat and how much we eat has been put on the back burner.
