Love your family and friends more…
Spend quality time with your family…
Reach out more often…
Help when you can…
Ask for help when you need it…
Find ways to stay connected…
If you’re sick, STAY HOME… (I hope this one lasts forever)
Enjoy your pets more…
Reminder that going without some “things” is not that big of a deal… (This has been eye-opening and I’m embracing it)
TV can be boring, reading is not… (Feel free to download one of mine Click Here 😋)
What are some of the positives you’re embracing?
The task is daunting… maybe you’d rather have lunch with a friend, watch TV, or focus on something easier…
Instead, focus on how completing the work will make you feel.
Then, make a plan for what you will achieve next… keep the momentum… 🤩
What can I say about lows… 🤔
Those lows can be sneaky little devils… might not even know you’re going through it, until you discover you don’t like your own behavior.
Luckily, it’s an easy fix.
Ok, it’s not easy. It’s a real pain in the a**!
1. Let yourself be sad. You’re allowed to be sad. Sadness is a wonderful emotion that helps guide us through change.
2. Take responsibility for your part. We make mistakes. We are imperfect, but we learn and we improve.
Forgive yourself while you’re at it.
3. Get back on track with you. Reconnect with your core morals and values.
4. Next, you might need to set some boundaries so you can stay true to your morals and values.
5. You’ve given yourself the needed time.. Now, get up and move that body. Do some things that make you happy.
Pick one drawer, closet, or cupboard and clean it, organize it, declutter it. 😀
I’ve been doing a lot of this lately and it feels amazing!
My office was a tough one… still sorting papers. BUT WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
I feel lighter, less stress…
I’ve also been using sites like Poshmark, Craigslist, and Let Go.
I have a long way to go, but I’m getting there. My perfectly clean and ready-for-guests guest room has become my selling room– Perfect use of the space!
🤞I hope I am done by next month.
Christy, in Touchable Love goes through a wonderful transformation because she declutters her life and learns how to face everything that holds her back.
Have a great day!
Take your power back from anybody who has mistreated you by becoming better, stronger, happier than them.
Don’t dwell on mistakes–learn from them and move on.
Pretend you’re 10 years younger.
Are you happy in your life… where you are?
What would you change?
If you were 10 years younger, in your life right now, would you feel good about what you’ve achieved?
You are 10 years younger this week!
Be proactive, not reactive.
Christy, Touchable Love, spent much of her life reacting and running from her problems instead of facing them. Loneliness and depression took over until she was able to turn her life around.
“Touchable Love is an important book for women. Not only does it confront important social issues, but also it inspires women to live with dignity, honesty and passion.” J. Smithson
This Week’s Challenge:
Give yourself what you most want from others.
…Not necessarily talking about gifts, but that works too.
If you want love, love yourself.
If you want romance, create some romance–even if you’re alone.
If you want security, do what you have to do so you feel safe.
If you want attention, focus on you for a while.
There is always a way to give yourself what you want and need.
This Week’s Challenge:
Hang around good people who inspire you, motivate you. #WeeklyChallenge #MondayMotivation
About the Books:
Nicole, from The Dumpster–One Woman’s Search For Love, wouldn’t make it in this world without the great people around her, especially her two best friends.
